This has been my go-to board for winter and fall. I wasn't much of a longboarder before moving to Michigan. But surfing Lake Michigan makes you try new things. This board is great in small-mushy waves and larger-mushy waves. Today, this board plowed through small-ice-slushy waves. It performed well for me. No matter what the conditions, it is good to surf the board you made period.
