I should have paid more attention to the sign behind me. But I made the drive so I had to surf. The waves were sort of week. I surfed directly behind where the first picture was taken. Waves were in the chest to shoulder high zone (I think that would be a ball in baseball). I neither struck out nor walked, just grabbed a few grounders to the right and drove back to GR with a smile and some ice.
